InfernalBlog in: Legend of korra Season 3 Finale

Hello and welcome back to the infernalblog which had been postponed forever because AVATAR.

Seeing as i have not been on the blogs in some time i may not be up to speed with it all but i'll do my best to review and give my opinions on the season 3 finale of legend of korra.

Finally before i get started i want to state season 4 has been confirmed, however i feel like this season finale deserves this post.

Oh yeah and this:

THE LEGEND OF KORRA and all related titles, logos and characters are ™ and © of Viacom International Inc. 2012-2014. All Rights Reserved. Original Presentation 2012-2014 Nickelodeon.
legal shit

So right of the bat in the season 3 finale(Lets just call it S3E13) we start with the avatar being chained to he walls and floor of a giant cave with Platinum handcuffs (Which can't be meatalbent.) This is following the events of Episode 12, as Zaheer tells korra of his plans to kill her in the avatar state(which would subsequently end the reincarnation of the avatar) it is made apparent of the growing fear in korra's eyes.

Zaheer then makes a quote of which i know exists elsewhere but i cant pinpoint from where:

"So we lucky few, this band of brothers and sisters in anarchy,"

The scene then cuts to the locked up air-benders realizing their without korra's help in the situation, but only momentarily as the camera pans back to korra where the unnamed red lotus members administer a poison  most likely made of mercury in an attempt to force her into the avatar state she resists for as long as she can but immediately starts hallucinating about amon unalok and Vaatu. Before anything major happens the air-benders are freed by the ragtag group that has been following korra around for the last few episodes.

Eventually korra stops fighting and enters the avatar state and instantly breaks free from the bonds of platinum and attacks Zaheer...

They end up exiting the cave and having a giant fight similar to the fight aang had with the fire lord in the season 3 finale of the last airbender.

Korra starts to waver as the poison takes full effect and eventually becomes completely helpless.
Jinora(Tenzin's daughter) comes up with a plan that basically ends up being to create a funnel of air to  suck zaheer in and counter his flight, which works, in the end zaheer is defeated and they are able to metal-bend the mercury out of her body.

Then sokka 2.0 comes in for some comic release and literally puts a sock in it:

From here on out aside from one moment i find the entire rest of this episode very saddening.

I'll start off with this pic:

(Que sad music)

The depressing scene continues when korra gets outside

The group outside then goes on to ponder how the world will fair in this time of chaos and who will help the world well korra is in a wheelchair.

Moments later at jinoras airbending mastery ceremony tenzin declares the air nation will return to it's nomadic roots and travel the world helping people from all nations while the avatar is disabled.

The final scene of this episode is probably the most depressing thing ive seen in avatar. This is the last thing you see before the credits:

This ending.......is......i can't even....

Ahem....While i think this season finale deserves many a blog post i do not nor will i ever accept this as a END. And as such i will continue watching avatar over and over again until season 4 is released I DON'T LIKE ENDING ON A SAD NOTE.

Well now that that's off my chest one thing that worry's me is  the potential lack of korra in Legend of korra season 4, her being in a wheelchair an all...Finally i'm very worried for korra herself in the sense that, she seems much more distant than she was prior to the finale, i am hoping this is a temporary result of the poison and not some large long term realization of how insignificant she is or something like that, i would hate to see korra's character ruined because of *Excuse the language* Za-fucktardmagee-heer.

Well, i gave the rundown of the episode, my review of the episode and my view on the result of it.

Overall rating

9.55555555555555555555555.../10

The reason it does not have a full 10? it lost .00000000000005 a point because i hate sad endings, but that's just my bias.

Infernal Mini-Blog in: Ranma1/2 Episode 1

So after some time i decided to revisit ranma 1/2, more specifically, my favorite episodes. I wanted to talk about the episodes in smaller posts, or segments however that's a very hard thing to do in blogger, so instead i will be releasing these mini-blogs. For more information, Visit the "Ranma 1/2 Revisited" Page on the top of the blog.

Now lets get started in Episode 1 of Ranma 1/2

In the first episode of Ranma 1/2(Witch i have watched 6 times) We meet the series protagonist Ranma!
Ok,blog done. Goodnight everybody.

But in all seriousness, I believe this episode to be one of the best episodes out of the first 3 seasons,

It also introduces the most characters in one episode. When ranma and his/her dad arrive upon the door of the gleeful yet Unsuspecting House of soun tendo, he expects and old spry man to come along with a energetic young man, and what he gets, is a giant panda, and a red haired pig-tailed Girl.

Skip half the remainder of the episode and the tendos finally learn of the training accident that left ranma and genma as a girl and panda respectively.

Deep in the hills of the Bayankala Mountain range (Bayan Har Shan), south of Mount Kensei, in Qinghai Province, China  (Try saying that 5 times fast.) Is where the training grounds of jusynkio lays. The ancient training grounds is home to many springs, but the 2 in particular they fell into were

Spring of Drowned Panda Or Shonmaonīchuan
And
Spring of Drowned Girl Or Nyannīchuan

After some witty banter and a table being unrightfully abused(Don't ask) The episode ends with ranma and genma sitting outside, and akane sitting at the table inside as they both say their final words of the episode:

Nibiki(Akane's sister):But you were both girls at the time, so that makes it ok right?

Akane:'Ok' is not the word

Genma: Ok So shes got spunk, that just make a fiance even more cute.

Ranma: Cute...Shes definitely not cute.

All in all it was a great episode to start things off.

I'll give it a 7/10

There are multiple parts they could have played out better, but it is made up for with the really good bits near the middle and end.

InfernalBlog in: Ranma ½

Welcome, today is the day i release my third blog, and what might be the longest blog i ever complete.
I have also decided to make my blog mostly anime posts.

(DISCLAIMER: This post will contain some language read at you're own risk!)
Now i know jokes about the concept of this show are rampant, but for now try to stay serious.

After watching 3 movies,13 ovas, 2 specials, and 161 episodes, it is official that  Ranma ½ is amazing. From comedy to drama, this show puts all of it together that in a way makes you like all the characters,
it pulls multiple aspects into the show to make it work like it does those being:Comedy,drama,love,story-line, and yes even FAN-SERVICE. Ranma is the original, being copied by kampfer. but what is the difference between them? lets find out in part one

Comparing Ranma to kampfer:

in kampfer the boy wears a bracelet, when the bracelet glows he transforms into a girl.
in ranma  when the boy is doused with cold water he turns into a girl
this is the first instance of fan-service for kampfer in ALL instances, and for ranma in some instances.

In Kampfer, during transformation his clothes break and are replaced by girl clothes, in ranma, when he transforms it is just his body and not his clothes so his surroundings stay as they were.

this is natsuru senou:
And this is his female form:
This is Ranma Soutome:
and his female form:
In my opinion ranma is better animated only by looking at these pictures, though kampfer is animated using a more advanced animation style ranma is DRAWN then animated, i know most shows have drawings to them but just look at these four pictures for a bit and tell me, witch do you like more?

Another thing is the story-line of these two shows  are the next thing. Time to compare: Kampfer is a
descrase to storytelling everywhere. with a real story line of a maximum four episodes, the show is a fluke.
Ranma has a plot, he has a goal, a lot of conflicts, and story progression so good it puts Pokemon's story  to shame.  Now instead of continuing on about the flaws of kampfer  and all that jazz, lets move on to another subject, Part two.

Important Characters:

Akane Tendo:
One of three sisters also Ranma's fiance.
Akane is short tempered and brute, using force instead of smarts, and according to anyone who has ever tasted her cooking, "If someone were to choke down a dinner made by her they would die." her and ranma are to inherit the tendo school of anything goes martial arts.

Genma Soutome:
Also known as Panda-man
Genma soutome is the father of ranma soutome, one day he and his son were travailing to jusynkio(a place in china with many cursed springs)
he was kicked off a bamboo poll (totally not ironic or nothin)
and fell into the spring of drowned panda, ad the guide then proceed to say "Uh oh, he fall in spring of drowned panda, tragic story of panda who drowned in spring two-thousand five-hundred year ago"
if you ask me, genma was saved the horrible fate of turning into one of the three things some more minor characters turn into (duck pig and cat). Though, personally being a panda would be like hell to me, you can't talk, you eat bamboo, and YOU'RE A PANDA.

The more minor characters i wont be talking about here sense i want most of this post to be ranma related,
so now it's time for

Ranma Soutome:
As the main protagonist ranma soutome also fell into a cursed hot springs:
once again after someone falls in a spring the guide chimes in: "that nanouchuan- spring of drowned girl, tragic story of girl who drowned in spring two-thousand five-hundred year ago, now whoever fall in spring, take body of young girl"
His one goal is to become only male again,(spoiler after 3 movies 2 specials 13 ovas and 161 episodes that did not happen)

Most of ranma 1/2 is an episode by episode basis of something happening to ranma that is either embarrassing or with the goal of being pure male again.

Here's my take on it, ranma fall into a cursed spring that turns him into a girl when splashed with cold water, to turn back into only a man again he wants to jump into a spring that turns things into boys, however would the spring not reject him? the way i understand it scene ranma has already fall into a spring once he should not be able re-curse himself, however stubborn he is, this is something to take into consideration, hence why i believe he will stay like this for the rest of his life, a curse is not something you can so easily remove.

Perhaps it is time for what i would call part 3 so... Part three, Ranma Soutome:

Ranma: Ranma Soutome, being the main protagonist has the most struggles, he gets in various "it's not what it looks like" circumstances, for example getting knocked out and a guy almost kissing him when he is a girl.(witch happens A LOT)

Though i have a theory of, when he is a girl he is knocked out easier, which may make sense considering when he is a boy he is slower but more powerful, and when he is a girl he is faster and less powerful.
Another thing, Ranma takes advantage of his curse, sometimes selfishly
Here's an example of the lengths he would go to be full boy again, putting on a dress and re styling his hair to get close to the guy that had some spring of drowned man water.sometimes he surprises me how far he would take it.(remember my theory from before?) Say he got this water, whats to say he would be able to use it on himself anyway? I've already expressed my say on the matter.
And if acting and dressing like that for being full time guy isn't selfish enough, he takes it a step further putting on a similar routine for free food or reducing the cost of food
.
Not only is he a martial artiest he is also akane tendo's fiance witch makes for some rather embarrassing circumstances when akane and ranma(in his female form) talk to each other publicly
he isn't all bad though, he has been known for dressing up and doing things for Akane's sake, that including dating men or worse.
(Yes he did this for akane)
If you were in ranma's place would you be Tramatised by this or would you like it? at this point ranma had been through so much i don't think he took much notice to it anyway.

I know what you're thinking, "it would be cool to have ranma's curse!" but think again, sure you could be the opposite gender, and sure you could toy with people to get what you want easier, but here is one of many things that could go wrong.
he was trying to help akane practice for a scatting competition, when the guy on the other team grabbed him and kissed him, he proceed to run off the ice, crying as that was his first kiss.

For a real girl it would have mattered a lot but not as much as for him sense at heart he was a boy, and if hot water was available he could have avoided the whole incident, but they were on the ice at the time.

Witch brings up another subject, you would think after some time he would bring some sort of small container with him  or something to use should he need to transform or turn back, but only once did he use hot water from out of his pocket, and that was on his rival, who was a pig at the time.
Witch reminds me, his rival "ryoga" also received his first kiss well  in his cursed form,
Seems a bit fishy, both ranma and ryoga getting their first kisses in their cursed form, huh?

Ranma constantly goes against everything the people around him say, weather it be for the good or bad of him. A lot of the time ranma will be challenged for the love of a girl(or guy, if  he happens to be a girl at the time) and accept gladly, not for the girl (or guy) but to prove he can't be defeated by anyone, and will go so far as to  remove his shirt as a girl to win the fights, he wont wear  'ahem' "top undergarments" because as stated before his clothes take no part in his transformation, so he can easily stun his male opponents this way...cheep yet effective, for this reason akane continually yells at him for having no sense of "womanly pride."

However on the 50th anniversary ranma seemed to have a bit of it,
His words were:"Trying to grope ME?, i won't forgive you for that!"

No one seems to question the fact Ranma and the pig-tailed girl(ranma's girl form) are never seen together in the same place at the same time...except in the art they put into the intro sequences:

On another  topic, ranma invented a move based off a move, he calls it the "lion's roar shot, Proud fierce tiger!"
he was only able to pull this off in his boy form however, that is until the 50th anniversary:
All these facts about ranma soutome, i think it's time for some opinion and hypothisisating (not a real word)!

Ranma started as a guy, once he fell into the hot spring and received the curse, his life turned upside down. perhaps the springs have even more to them than just what has been hypothisisisded(totally a real word)
From what ive already said here, you can see his life became more hectic after he was placed the curse on,so perhaps anyone who falls in the spring is not only cursed with a transformation, but also with a more "interesting" life. So that would make 3 curses in one 1.Transformation through cold water 2.first kiss in cursed form 3.more interesting life.

So, i have come to a conclusion: JUSYNKIO IS CONFUSING.

So continuing on the whole "ranma" thing
Despite taking his transformation to his advantage and using it to help his allies, he always has one goal  in mind, to become COMPLETELY normal again. Though he never quite makes his goal as stated before, there are a few close calls that almost did the trick, like a jusynkio pond in japan, or a bar of soap that has the powers of jusynkio...yeah they went that far.

So... Finally  Conclusion: i found this anime to be what i can only describe as Perfect, once i started watching an episode i normally wouldn't stop until i had watched at least around 13-20 episodes with intervals of checking Skype in between, however when the finale came i put Skype aside and watched the 2 part  final episode of ranma 1/2 and for this part of my post, i will be covering it.

The episode starts out like any normal episode  this time with akane and the rest honoring what seemingly is the grave  of akane's mother, soon cutting to a scene of ranma walking along the fence as usual, when he comes across some lose ones he then falls into the water and transforms into a girl.
His mother attempts to pull him out not knowing who he is due to the fact she had not heard of the incident at jusynkyo, and instead she falls in with him, they talk and she proceeds to leave  saying:"you're a little clumsy aren't you? i suppose that's alright though for a tomboy like yourself" (Don't ask me how ranma's mother came up with that, it could just be a joke the writers wanted to put in, or it could have some meaning to it)
Later, ranma was returning to take a shower (sense he was transformed from falling into the water) and his father scooped him up and started to run away, only to be stopped by  akane's dad.
Eventually they all find out the reason ranma's dad was leaving so suddenly was because ranma's mom was coming to visit, and he made a vow that him and ranma would commit ritual seppuku(Suicide) if ranma was not a "man among men" and well...
another set of events occur and they manage to keep his secret hidden, by not allowing ranma's mom to see ranma in his male form and saying his name was "lanko" well in female form and telling her ranma and his dad were on a journey to improve their martial arts skills.

Eventually ranma's mom unknowingly sits on a water pump...for a hot spring and... this happens:
Long story short ranma jumps in as a girl, saves his mom as a boy and then comes the most touching scene ive ever seen in a anime EVER:

His mother believes it was a dream that ranma saved her and that he was a "man among men" and in truth it was ranma that saved her,but he transformed unwillingly back into "lanko" shortly after,
akane continues to try and say that it was ranma who saved her but ranma stops her and says
"It's ok, Let her keep dreaming"

Finally, Ranmas mother leaves and i am not afraid to admit i was tearing up at this point, but it gets even more touching by Ranma's final true words in this show, once Ranma mom is gone, the camera pans over, and Ranma says:
"Someday...I'll be just a guy. But until then, keep dreaming. For both of us"

I have  watched this multiple times now, and every time it gets to me, i cannot put into words just how sad this ending truly is, leaving room for more, witch there will most likely never be, the writers left it up to the imagination of the viewer to think what would happen next, if it were up to me, this would not have ended in the 1980's and would still be going on today.

It is unfathomable how good the old anime shows can be, and as far as i'm concerned no show, game, movie will ever,EVER live up to what ranma has done. Should this show ever get a reboot, be it one episode,a fourth movie, or a new season, i will not hesitate to revisit it, but for now, this is it.

Now all that's left is to give you my rating,

What else can i give it?     Rating:\infty/10

InfernalBlog in:Tales of Xillia

Oh look what's this, a game that looks like a show? lemme guess, xillia!

One of my favorite showgames of  2012-2014. I like to call it a show but in truth it is a game, in witch you get to choose between one of two protagonists, Jude Mathis or Milla Maxwell. Jude Mathis is a student aspiring to receive a doctors degree,One night he was walking on a bridge that overhung a waterway, and he dropped a piece of paper, instead of moving on he went to get it marking his immanent run in with Milla Maxwell, whose initial reaction was as follows:
Yes Milla Maxwell, controller of the 4 great spirits, master of elements, slayer of teenagers who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time!(oh wait..not that last one...)After Jude agrees to shut up she releases him from the h2o torture, where he starts coughing and she proceeds to scowl at him and say "Can't you cough quieter?" afterwards plot ensues and they end up fighting this maniac:
One of the antagonists in the game, Agria.
After a long time of Milla essentially telling Jude to get lost they end up traveling together and meet up with a mercenary for hire "Alvin"
who leads a band of chipmunks that sing variu-wrong Alvin. He helps Jude, they sail overseas, and eventually they end up in a forbidden city, were we meet possibly the most annoying character in this ENTIRE GAME "Ivar" rant after rant obsession after obsession basically he hates Jude's guts, And i hate him,so were even.

Blah blah blah story-line story-line lets get to some more things i find good and bad about this game.

#1:Good Character progression
They mastered a beatable game and a anime in one marvelous PS3 game. they were able to make the character come to life like they would in a good anime but also stay true to their  game  story-line.
If you were to put all the Cut-scenes together in chronological order it could literally be an anime.
There are even points that are most important to the story-line in full anime format:
It is hard to put in words how amazing they put the character progression together in this game.

so now i move on

#2:My take on tales of xillia
If i were to have made this game it would be an anime, not a game. Simple as that it feels like an anime.

#3:Story-line Pros and Cons
#2 was super short, however that is as simple as it gets.On the side of story-line xillia powers through town after town forest after mountain plains after deserts, but it does it perfectly, i can explain most of the story-line in one sentence "Keep moving or they all die"they are periodically chased through towns and nature meanwhile trying to get to the main goal "the lance of kresnic" witch has trapped the great 4 spirits inside it (Gnome,Efreet,Sylph,Undine). If they are to do so then Milla Maxwell must not die or all the world will die...or something.the whole time Jude develops a friendship with allies that join him, but mainly Milla who he obviously likes. This brings up a con however, milla is a male spirit in a female body, witch seems to be something reoccurring in today's games and shows HINT HINT
(Totally not from my last post)
Well i think that's enough of that. This game overall was good it had its flaws, but it rebounded those flaws with a unbeatable story-line and characters.

Soo...
Rating: 9/10
Next time on, infernalblog...another blog post,
That's hopefully more professional than this one...

InfernalBlog in:Kampfer

Come one come all, to a blog.
This is my blog, there are many like it, but this ones mine.

(Disclamer: I am new to blogging and therefore don't have much in the way of  writing opinion, however my opinion is my personal opinion and Should not be taken to heart)

To mark this as the first blog post, I am going to give a little insight on a good yet terrible Anime.
The anime in question is none other than:Kampfer
 yes
Ah yes, yet another anime full of great potential, with minimal story and maximal fan-service, this anime could have been the new  Naruto, Dare i say it.The story "revolves" around a boy in school, (whatever grade he is in is not stated) named Natsuru Senō (yes the bold text and color was necessary) who woke up one day to find he is a girl:
(Don't worry this is only the beginning of the weird)

However he is not just any girl now, he is a "Kampfer,"(told you the weird wasn't over, just wait for this next part) A Kampfer is a FEMALE warrior that uses either a melee weapon, a gun, or magic to fight.(spoiler EVERY other Kampfer is pure female) Their purpose is simple, fight, Fight with other Kampfers...
How...productive...Continuing on you have 3 types of Kampfer, red Kampfer(Kampfer with red bracelets),
blue Kampfer(same but with blue), and white Kampfer(you know the drill), and every Kampfer undergoes a different change, but i 'll get back to that later, right now it's time to talk about one of my 3 most noticeable things in this anime.

#1:Fan-service.
Ah yes fan-service, the staple of anime. Kampfer takes fan-service and puts it in every situation it can, making #2 and #3 Fade into the background.

(I won't be including pictures in this section for obvious reasons.)

The show starts out awkwardly, after a dream state Natsuru wakes in his room to find he is a girl he briefly *clears throat* "checks himself" to be sure of what has happened, and realizes he has a blue bracelet on
now "what does this have to do with fan-service" you may ask, this is the first instance of fan-service and we haven't even got past the first 5 minutes of this show, upon awaking she is wearing the same shirt he-(excuse me ~she or is it he? IT) was wearing as a boy witch proves slightly small, not only that but it mysteriously replaces pants with a small skirt, Riddle me this batman, how does it gain a skirt but keep the same shirt? (i know i should be a professional poet)It also gains longer hair however that's natural. it goes on to point out it is also in different underwear...really? Ok i'm starting to regret starting this post now, but i'm this far so...
Going through the show you can't go 5 minutes without some form of fan-service, i'll spare you the majority  but the worst of it all is at the end, the protagonists body's get swapped with their dolls that live
(did i forget to talk about them them? they played such a small role up until this season finale i forgot they were there)
ok i lied here is a picture fortunately this picture has no fan-service in it

The entire episode is basically fan-service, the dolls use the body's to eat and shop and eventually get caught up in a amusement park where they partake in various fan-service.So in the end this is my summary of standout #1:

Plot poi-Fan-service~~~ Character developm-Fan-service~~~ Fan-servi-FAN-SERVICE

Now moving on to a subject more suited to talk about

#2:Plot

Once again plot (along with #3) is pushed down to the corner of the room under fan-service. I can truthfully say i saw about 3-4 episodes devoted to plot the rest being fan-service.It is hard to talk about this show without bringing up fan-service, the plot was crude the flow of events nonexistent and wait what was that i just heard? FAN-SERVICE, the plot might as well been fan-service.

This paragraph will summarize the plot attempting to avoid fan-service as much as possible, a boy named natsuru woke up one day and turned into a girl with a magic bracelet that turned him to and from his female state, his doll told him he was something called a kampfer a warrior meant to fight other kampfer of a different color to decide a battle  "far far away"  sense his bracelet was blue he had to fight red kampfer however the first to attack him was another blue kampfer who he saved form a phone line poll and they eventually teamed up to defeat the reds  when they were mysteriously attacked by a red kampfer who turned out to be the student body president *breaths in slowly*  she along with natsuru's childhood friend were red kampfer  who all eventually teamed up to find out why they must fight(they did not know at the time) and eventually white kampfer came out of nowhere and started attempting to kill them because they were not doing what the ancient beings that were in a never ending war called moderators wanted them to but for plot ended up failing.

This is the best i could do, it  took half an hour to type that attempting to exclude all fan-service, in total video time that takes up about 2 episodes out of what 14.

lets be honest though, this is borderline hentai.

Now let's get #3 over with so i can go enjoy a nice round of killing a.i's in starcraft2 okay?

#3:Character Development

Paper thin,nonexistent,not a trace,malvaviscos toma buena.
The most character development was during FAN-SERVICE e yup that's back.
However there were times where character development was a thing:

This shy girl:
Turns into this sharpshooter:

Totally legit...

boy:
Girl:
(let me be totally honest with you the anime makes less sense than this post, there is nothing i can do to make any more sense out of the show)

And so you see the anime in it's best, Fan-service
(did i mention natsuru is more clueless than quagzire? The other girls are all being as obvious as they can they want to be with him and he has not got a clue even when they flirt with him as a girl (creepy huh?))

all in all, if it was more focused on plot and characters it has the potential to be a great show, but alas the show ended as it started FAN-SERVICE.I left out many many things mainly because i can't talk about them without more fan-service but here is an example: i have nothing against liking that same gender as you(though i personally would not do so),however this show takes it to far, a very popular abridged states the exact words for this, at one point yami yugi pops up (it'a a abridged they can edit what they want in) and states
"Why is every girl in this show lesbian?" witch sums the show up quite nicely considering whenever natsuru is a female all the girls pile drive her trying to get a date. there's even a love interest for out pore hero/heroine so (pardon this sentience, i mean no offence) even the man-lady is lesbian(when he...she...IT is a female).

There's only so much Kampfer one can take so that's it for this post.,Come back often for  Non
FAN-SERVICE related show and game blog posts.

Rating:3/10 Could have been great but sucked~
